It is now confirmed that the global mega event Expo2020, will now run from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022. As world is continually facing a global situation that is both fast moving and unpredictable. Over the last several weeks, we have been working hard, both internally and in consultation with key UAE and international stakeholders, to review the on going impact of COVID-19 on our plans and preparations for Expo 2020 Dubai.
It is obvious that delay will really help all the stakeholders and attendees to safely move on and face new challenges of our time. Finding new opportunities and identify solutions to some of the greatest challenges of the this decade.
We as a responsible localization firm, minimizing the communication gap remain functional to deliver in Expo2020. One year delay in the opening date of Expo 2020 will help all stakeholders to overcome recent global challenge. No doubt World Expos ( like Expo 2020 ) bring people together in a spirit of hope and collaboration for a better future.
The Dubai 2020 theme, “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future,” is broad enough to meet the recent challenges. As recent changes brought by the pandemic, challenges can be seen as opportunities – grand opportunities.
